Kelly Campbell is southwestern Ohio born and raised. Even through college she couldn't shake the pull that the bottom part of the buckeye state had on her. Although she started playing guitar at the age of 14, it wasn't until college that she started to really work on developing her talents as a musician. Her first official "gig" was at a bar in the middle of Miami's "Uptown," called Stadium--where she attracted such a large crowd that once her set was done, and her fans left, the place felt completely empty.
A self taught musician, Kelly will openly admit that she's probably not the best guitar player out there, and certainly not the best singer. But with her catchy songs and charming enthusiasm, fans quickly forget that minor detail. Not being content with just playing music FOR people, Kelly has a way of bringing the whole crowd into her set, and in fact says "there's nothing more exciting to me, than when I look out around the faces and they are all singing the same words that I am and having a blast--that's why I do this."******************************************************

Her sets consist of half covers, and half originals--although sometimes it's difficult to tell them apart because she rarely mentions the names of the songs she's playing.

Currently Kelly is working on recording some newer songs she's written, but please be patient, her computer software is not configuring properly, and until that's worked out, no new songs will likely be added (Hint: if you are good at computers, you could help here).
