..My new curatorial vein is not isolated. It follows a more complex and long-term project involving young artists who are following my path as a performance artist. I just bought two buildings in upstate New York: one is an old theater and the other is a residential building. The theater will be used as a venue for performances—mainly devoted to showing emerging artists with the contribution of young curators putting together small programs, festivals, events, etc.—and, if all goes well, it should be operative by next summer. The other building will be used as living quarters by artists and curators, who will be invited to stay for short residencies. Both structures are in Hudson, New York, on the route that connects New York City to Dia Beacon and to MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts.
