She began her career in talent management as the founder / director ofTomorrow’s Future Theatre Company. Founded in 1988, Ally’s company exposedsome of the hottest and brightest talent in the New York City area.
Through her extensive work developing and promoting Tomorrow’s Future,Alaine became highly skilled in musical theatre production, developed a keeneye for casting fresh talent, honed her playwriting abilities, developedsets and oversaw costume design. Tomorrow’s future received instant acclaimand overwhelming response. CBS presented their prestigious, Fulfilling TheDream Award for two unprecedented, consecutive years to Tomorrow’s Futureactors for their performance in The First Step, a Hip Hop musical writtenand directed by Ally.
CBS was only the start of a string of award winning opportunities for Ally’sTomorrow’s Future talent group. Cast members who developed a desire topursue a career in music talked Ally into working as a manager on theirbehalf. She not only secured record deals for them with reputable recordlabels but she went on to become the general manager of the label. As herreputation for being an ethical, hard working manager grew so did her rosterof clients.
Ally continued to groom and develop her cast and crew and soon they began toattract casting directors for film and television. Alaine eventuallysecured a mentor in Wanza King, co-owner with his wife, and agent ofAmerican International Talent Agency, which specialized in placement fortheatre, film and television. Determined to carve her way into the film andtelevision arena. Alaine began to offer her professional services toestablished and up and coming directors; she conducted casting sessions,connected film crews, and more.
After much hard work, talent development and savvy networking, Ally foundedRoberson’s Artist Management, and established a strong reputation as arespected talent manager. She is a member of the prestigious TalentManagers Association whose extremely selective standards speak to herexcellence in her field. Her clients are currently working on nationaltelevision, feature films and acclaimed at film festivals.
