I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a simple person, living in the moment.
Ordained as a priest of the Zen Buddhist Order of Hsu Yun, I moderate the Family Circle ministry on the Order's website at www.hsuyun.org
I lead the Cherry Tree Sangha of East Tennessee in meditation practice and Dharma studies. We meet in Lenoir City, TN. If you live in the Knoxville / Oak Ridge / Maryville / Sevierville area, you're always welcome to sit with our group. If you are visiting East Tennessee (including the Great Smoky Mountains), we'd love for you to visit with us, too! Please send me a Myspace message for directions and more info.
I don't pretend to know everything. I try not to take myself too seriously. I've learned that profound wisdom often comes after profound stupidity. In other words, nobody has ever reached any goal without stumbling along the way. We are all human, after all, so why not embrace it?
Someone once said, "Things are sacred just as they are - therefore, change nothing and accept everything." In that spirit, I welcome you here. Sit with me, just as you are, and we can take refuge in the great holiness that surrounds us and that is within us.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who desires peace within themselves and freedom for all who suffer. We're all brothers and sisters. We all share the same universe, the same air, the same spirit.
