Dream of Siam was originally started in 2004 by Blake Goodwin, Garrett Moore, and Anthony Beck. The band went through many member changes, many shows and a tour and broke up in the summer of 2006.
The idea of reviving DOS began during a conversation between four best friends in late November of 2007. Guitarists Blake Goodwin and Steve Antal and Bassist Garrett Moore had played music together years before, in many different projects, including Dream of Siam. Friend and Drummer Logan Kennedy came into the process to start writing and playing heavier and a much more powerful idea of music they all believed in and were very passionate about. All sharing similiar tastes and ideas for a sound heavy enough to wake the dead, the four immediately started writing and working on material. Mutual friend, previous DOS guitarist, Derek Elsass would join in on vocals, to complete the missing link of the chain. The last chapter of Dream of Siam is that resembling any first step a band makes in its journey down the path of achievement.
