ROCK WILL NEVER DIE

About Me

MyGen Profile Generator"Melodic Mountain sized choruses with just the right amount of eyeliner caked Rock and Roll Swagger"
Nik Shelton - Cambridge Evening News

"Federal Black 40 are on the warpath and on this showing Cambridge’s flagging rock scene is about to get a boot up the arse."
John Skibeat - Sonicedice.com
"A Full on experience for the ears! FB40 ROCK!!"
Jordan Chambers - 209 Radio -105fm
Formed in the summer of 2007, from the ashes of previous successful bands, Federal Black 40 know the importance of great hooks with catchy lyrics and classic rock solos. Energy and good times are what it's all about at live shows - no-one goes home til they headbang!
With influences ranging from: The Wildhearts - Guns n Roses - Jet - Stone Sour, Federal Black 40 are making a name for themselves in the shady world of rock n roll, with extensive touring and new song releases planned for 2008 a busy road lies ahead for this notoriously likeable band.
BETTER REVIEW -
" ‘Better’ is on a completely different level. Quiet, soft carefully-plucked strings are supplemented by ringing top notes which back-fill the shattering, vibrant vocal. The verse is just a thing of simplistic beauty, repeated in all its glory and eventually leading into overdriven guitars and a decent spot of hefty drums and guitar wail on the solo. Harmonics pick everything up and dump it firmly where your jaw is - on the floor. It’s sounding very promising."
