I'd like to meet people that are True and honest, caring and loving and don't play games. Also, I wouldn't mind meeting Antonio Banderas, Oscar De La Hoya, Tom Cruise, Sting, Tony Robbins, Joe Bonamassa, Danica Patrick and Lance Armstrong. I'd like to meet God too, but not for a long time :)SOME OF MY MAGAZINE COVERS -..
MySpace Graphics & MySpace CodesAbout Me……hummmm. Well, my 2 sons are the most precious things to me, although they definitely keep me on my toes! Ever since I had them, I now see the world quite differently, through their eyes. One can go to Disney World or fly on a plane, hold a cute puppy or see a movie 100X, but when you do it with your kids, it’s a whole new experience…..seeing it thru their eyes. I love to watch my kids play sports and love to see them happy. I also have 2 step-sons.
I have been studying the Martial Arts for over 28 years now. Opened my own school in 1984, and then joined the school with my husband’s back in 1990. Although fighting and the other aspects of the Martial Arts are a passion of mine, I don’t consider myself a “Tom Boyâ€; however, you won’t catch me too often slaving over a hot oven all day or spending a beautiful summer day outside planting flowers :). I consider myself quiet and shy, but not as shy as I used to be before studying Karate. I have won New England titles, US titles and then went on to win 9 WAKO World Karate titles and breaking world records. Climbing the ladder to be number 1, the absolute best, was one of the most challenging and funnest things I've ever done. After I retired from competition, I spent time working on movies, stunt doubling for some incredible actresses (such as Hilary Swank and Alicia Silverstone), and did some acting too. I have traveled around the world (from the Caribbean, Europe, Central America and to the Ukraine) and seen some awesome places, different life styles and met some of the nicest people. Right now I still train hard, I try to help each one of my students reach their full potential, their goals, dreams…..and beyond. I want to continue working in films on stunts and acting, I teach seminars or perform at various places around the world and I am a model, product designer and spokesperson for Macho Products, currently working on my own clothing and uniform line with the company. I think that I am confident, but not cocky – there is always someone out there quicker, smarter, tougher, stronger. Most of my closest friends are guys, has been like that since I was in Kindergarten, but I do have some nice female friends as well. My Martial Art friends from all over the world and my past teammates are truly like family to me. My favorite season is Spring, but I wouldn’t trade the other seasons at all. By the time I’m sick of one season, the next one is coming along…that’s what’s nice about New England. I think that age is a state of mind and that you can truly accomplish and get anything that you want if you set your mind to it! I believe in positive attitude! I know I am far from perfect, but try to be a good role model for my students and my kids. Unfortunately, I hold a grudge and find it hard to forget if someone does something mean to my family, my friends or me. I will forgive, but I never forget. I have accomplished quite a bit in my lifetime, but would still like to write a book, which is one thing I haven’t done yet. I am petrified of dying, only because I know what it’s like to be young and loose your parents and would hate to see my kids ever go thru that before they become adults. I love people that make me smile or laugh. Most people say that I am way too serious, but I guess those people just don’t truly know me and that I haven’t opened up in front of them. I guess I don’t open up to too many people and keep my guard up most of the time. I keep my feelings inside and don’t like to cry in front of ANYONE. I must have Indian in my blood, because I love Indian things, like dream catchers, Indian art, etc.. I love to shop for clothes, shoes, boots and gadgets to keep things organized. I think I am conservative or middle of the road, not too wild, but not too boring. Natural highs are great, like doing a high fall, winning a world title, kicking someone in the head when I'm fighting, riding a roller coaster, and I’m sure ski diving is or doing a full body burn (stunt), which I’ve never done, but would love to do. I’m very competitive and hate to lose, but I am not a sore loser. I know that if I learnt something by losing, then it was worthwhile, but don’t let it happen again! I am very amazed at how much I still have to learn in life, but hate the fact that with learning comes pain - as they say "learning the hard way". I think without LOVE you cannot be truly happy or live with passion. Being loved and loving others is essential in life – just as important as food and air. Spending time and "B"ing with someone you love is just "perfect"...
