Ashley and Serena met once upon at time in 1991 when they were little people. Their dads worked with each other and Ashley and Serena became friends. They both frequented the local playground and played games like "forty forty" and "hide and seek" but as the years past Ashley and Serena lost contact with one another due to the fact that Ashley kept beating Serena at "forty forty" and "hide and seek" which made her mad.
Coincidently, years later, they started hanging around in the same group of friends and 14 years later they broke the ice once again. Only this time they were too old for"forty forty" and "hide and seek", instead they started playing better games like "who can get pissed the quickest". (Serena won that game).
Ashley and Serena decided that they would not become adults quite yet and began playing a new game called "play fighting", only this backfired and lead them to becoming an item.
As time passed Serena joined Ashley's band called 'No Return' as the glamorous backing vocalist. This sadly came full cycle and they both decided to form their own band DOUBLEBACK ALLEY. This was all thanks to 'Golden Plectrum Award Winner' Nick Courtney as it was his open mike club that inspired them.
After numerous gigs as a duo Ashley and Serena decided it was time to bring out the best in their songs by forming a full band. This began by recruiting wonderful drummer and front man of 'The Elizans' Master Will Keel-Stocker.
