I was born in Buenos Aires, where I studied Music and Languages at the Universidad del Salvador, until I left my country at the end of 1988, for living in Europe. I continued developing my singing technique with different teachers and I entered the operastudio at Conservatory Schaffhausen. 1991 I began giving classic concerts as soloist in Switzerland and Germany (Tonhalle/Zürich, Kulturzentrum Gasteig/ Munich, Fraumünster/Zürich, Volkshaus/Zürich etc.). Since 2003 I have also been singing tango, argentine folklore, and brasilian programms (Zürcher Tango Woche, Piccolo Musikfestival, Festival du Tango Lausanne, etc).
2001: I became the official artistic Acknowledgement from Province Campobasso/ Italy.
2002 + 2003 I gave benefit concerts to sustain the schools damaged from the terrible earthquake of 2002 in San Giuliano di Puglia and Bonefro (Molise, Italy).
2003: Together with my brother, Eduardo Bergallo, and my husband, Nicola Di Capua, we created the
Piccolo Musikfestival , which have been taken place since then, every sommer, under my direction, in Embrach, Switzerland.
Since January 2008 I have been singing also in Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow), at festivals and different theater and tv productions:
Tango Operita Maria de Buenos Aires (Piazzolla and Ferrer),
Piazzolla Tango Concert with Remolino Quintett (St. Petersburg),
Tango Recital with Soledad Quintett (Moscow),
Bossa Nova with David Goloschekin Sextett (St. Petersburg Jazz Philharmonic Hall).
During the 6. Piccolo Musikfestival, I presented a program of argentine tango and brasilian popular music, together with guitarist Julio Azcano; another one with Alejandro Aguilera Trio: Tangazos; and a bossa nova night with top musicians Quique Sinesi, Daniel Messina, Floriano Inacio Jr. and Herbie Kopf.
During November and December I was singing bossa nova with Roberto Rutigliano Trio in Notorius (Buenos Aires) and with David Goloschekin Sexett at Hermitage Theater (St. Petersburg); Maria de Buenos Aires (St. Petersburg) and tango recital with Soledad Quintett at Art Gallery Theater (Moscow).
I am nominated in Russland as best singer/actress ("Maria de Buenos Aires") for the «Goldenmask Award 2009»
