If your dog loves water, loves to swim, and loves to retrieve a favorite toy, it will love Splash Dogs!
Since 2003, Splash Dogs has provided dog enthusiasts with world class dock jumping events throughout the United States. Splash Dogs encourages people of all ages to come out to events with their dogs, and give dock jumping a try.
Splash Dogs has several divisions set up for dogs and handlers with varying levels of skill, so that all participants can be competitive at their own level. Splash Dogs offers awards for all levels of competition from a Splash division through a Professional division. There are many people who train and condition their dogs to be highly competitive and compete at many Splash Dogs events throughout the year.
DOCK JUMPING
The idea behind dock jumping is to use a dog's drive and confidence to see how far it can jump off a 40-foot dock into a 40-foot long pool of water. Dock jumping can be a fun sport for the weekend warrior who simply wants to spend a fun day with a four-legged friend.
SUPER VERTICAL
Super Vertical is the latest rage in the dock jumping world! This new sport involves a vertical boom that hangs a bumper 8 feet out over the water. The idea of Super Vertical is to see how high a dog can jump up rather than how far out.
The height of the bumper is gradually raised throughout the competition to see which dog can grab the bumper at the highest point and carry it into the water with them.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

FOR EVERYONE

Dock jumping is a great family sport where anyone can come spend quality time with their families, good friends, and their favorite canine buddies.

JUNIOR HANDLERS

Junior handlers are strongly encouraged to participate. Splash Dogs has a Junior Handler Division which provides a very fun and meaningful competition for young people. They can learn how to work with their dogs on the dock, practice what they learn, and strengthen the special bond between themselves and their dogs. Splash Dogs praises good sportsmanship and wants all Junior Handlers to go home with a ribbon and the feeling of having had a wonderful experience at Splash Dogs.

RETIREES

Many people retired from their lifetime careers tend to look for hobbies to keep active and happy. It is never too late to start a new dog sport with a four-legged friend. There are retired people who travel all over the country to compete in dock jumping events. It is great fun for everyone, and Splash Dogs welcomes participation from all ages.

ANY BREED OF DOG CAN TRY!

From Poodles to Papillons, from Retrievers to Rescue Dogs, dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome at Splash Dogs events. A dog does not have to be purebred to participate. If your dog loves water, loves to swim, and loves to retrieve a favorite toy, it will love Splash Dogs!

If you have never tried dock jumping with your dog, it's easy to get started. Just go to our website, www.Splashdogs.com, to get information on our upcoming events. There are always experienced handlers at Splash Dogs events who are willing and able to help you get started if your dog has never jumped off a dock before.

Visit the website to get signed up on our mailing list. You can also log onto the Splash Dogs message board to hook up with experienced Splashdoggers in your area.
