Sysyphus

Salve a tutti!!! Noi siamo i Sysyphus, tribute band dei Pink Floyd. L'idea del gruppo nasce nei primissimi mesi del 2007 dalla decisione presa tra Alberto Bevere (drum) e Mario Fabricio Pipini (guitar) entrambe affetti da floydite acuta. In seguito si uniscono con molto entusiasmo al progetto Sysyphus Riccardo Mirabella (tastiere ed organo) e Davide Minotti (basso) che completano splendidamente la formazione. Già dalle prime prove c'è stato facile intuire attraverso improvvisazioni psichedeliche e prog anni 70, la direzione giusta per raggiungere i nostri obiettivi; questo ci ha portati ad inserire nella scaletta del repertorio numerosissimi brani tratti dai primi dischi dei Floyd, da "the piper at the gates on down" ad "ummagumma" senza escludere però i classici intramontabili come "dark side of the moon" e "wish you were here" cercando di riprodurre e ricreare fedelmente (se pur a modo nostro) i suoni e le atmosfere magiche punto di forza dei Floyd. Ma la psichedelia che si è annidata nelle nostre menti e che ha ormai preso completo dominio dei nostri corpi, si manifesta ogni volta che il gruppo imbraccia gli strumenti dando vita a spazi,suoni,luci ed atmosfere sempre diverse che accompagnano l'ascoltatore attraverso un tunnel multiforme sino alla volta celeste dei sensi....

Hi!! We’re the Sysyphus, a Pink Floyd tribute band. The intention of a band began in the early months of 2007 for the decision of Alberto Bevere (drum) and Mario Fabricio Pipini (guitar) both affected by an acute “Floydosys”. Afterwards Riccardo Mirabella (keyboards and Hammond) and Davide Minotti (bass guitar) joined up the band, completing wonderfully the whole. The right way to achieve our aims was clear since the first session, full of psychedelic jams and progressive music from the seventies. These preferences make us to put in the concerts schedule several pieces from the early LPs like “The piper at the gates of dawn” and “ Ummagumma” or the immortal “The dark side ok the moon” and “Wish you were here”. We try to recreate faithfully sounds and atmospheres of Pink Floyd. The psychedelia has lurked in our minds and rules our bodies showing itself every time the band climb a stage starting sounds, lights and atmospheres that takes the audience trough a multiform tunnel up to the vault of heaven....
