About Me

You want to know why I call myself Snake? I'll tell you.The snake is a surprisingly resilient creature. It knows how to keep itself alive when the world gangs up on it. It sheds its skin when it has to and can be entirely heartless, a ruthless, impulsive fighter, just like I was in high school.I was a defensive, quiet, impulsive, introverted, pretty ruthless kid, a shadow of my former warm, loving, kind-hearted and creative self. Hey, when you live through an Apartheid like I did, you learn to forget yourself and how to keep yourself from going nuts and killing yourself.And most of all, everybody hates snakes. Just like me. Everybody in school hated me 'coz I wasn't as rich as them.
