Blaming Tim is a culmination of failures and reprisals. While most of the songs take on an attitude of unwanted change and loss, they are hopeful in their outlook of what the next day will bring.Timothy Johnson has been playing piano since the age of six. By the age of nine he was performing with the Atlanta Academy of Music at various outdoor festivals. Competing in the anual Georgia Solo Festival, Tim came home as the champion of his age group from 1988 - 1992. During his teenage years (the 1990’s) Tim played in concert venues all across the state. In 1997 Tim was granted a scholarship to the Berkley College of music in Massachusetts, but unfortunatly was not able to attend. Instead - he stayed in Georgia and started a rock and roll band.Larry Copeland brings smooth and creative bass to the band. His most prominent feature comes from his ability to not only drive songs along but also create intuitive counter melodies - truely stretching the limits of the term “Rythm Section†Larry’s dry wit and sometimes surley disposition coincides with the essence of the music.Keith Wilson joined the lineup in mid 2007 and has been added his own flavorful snare powered style to the music which acts as both foundation and accent. While that may sound impossible, it’s also impossible for a helicopter to fly faster that 180 knots… so… there ya go.Blaming Tim is a hard working ambitious group from Atlanta, dedicating themselves to being professional musicians, learning as much as possible, and consistently delivering interesting, imaginative, awesome performances.[LOVEMYFLASH]
