"live" like Muddy; BB, Albert and Freddy King; Johnny Shines; Jr Lockwood; James Booker; Lightnin' Slim; Sunnyland Slim, Henry Gray (latter two I even sat in with them)...and of course countless of harp players from Big Walter, Snooky Pryor, Jr Wells or Whispering Smith or Little Mack Simmons to Kim Wilson, RJ Mischo, Mitch Kashmar, Rod Piazza...and what struck me each time was the soulfulness, sincerity of their music.
I just love to hear these blues played old style!
