About Me

FAIR WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT SENT ME A MESSAGE TELLING ME ABOUT YOURSELF AND ALLOWED ME TO GET TO KNOW YOU, OR IF I DO NOT KNOW YOU FROM PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE, DO NOT ASK TO BE MY FRIEND. PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW WHO SIMPLY SEND A REQUEST WITHOUT INTRODUCING THEMSELVES OR ALLOWING ME TO GET TO KNOW THEM *WILL* BE INSTANTLY DENIED WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED.Now that we have the unpleasantries out of the way we can get to the good stuff. My favorite interests are Firearms, both historical and modern, Martial arts(Currently study Kali, and an art from Indonesia called Silat that you probably never heard of have studied others before), Screenwriting( any other vampire movies ever made ain't got *shit* on the one I'm writing), Connoisseur of Dumb Horror Films and self proclaimed Master of Vampire Lore :P I'm also a Three Stooges fan, Go to old car shows with my dad in our restored '52 Ford Mainline, I love cats, and I'm also very good at hating my job.So I finally got serious enough about this filmmaking nonsense I started taking courses .. after work to learn the trade itself, and I'm thinking "why didn't I just do this 10 years ago?" but I'm actually enjoying this, and I've never enjoyed anything before that involved work, so I must be onto something here.Though I don't mind telling you, when you have to work on your feet all day and then come home to write, it gets frustrating as hell sometimes. Which Characteristic From the Samurai Code Matches You Best? (You may find out your best trait)
Duty and Loyalty: You serve your purpose and do what you must do. People would consider you someone to rely on, and one who keeps his/her word when he/she gives it.

You scored as Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones is an archaeologist/adventurer with an unquenchable love for danger and excitement. He travels the globe in search of historical relics. He loves travel, excitement, and a good archaeological discovery. He hates Nazis and snakes, perhaps to the same degree. He always brings along his trusty whip and fedora. He's tough, cool, and dedicated. He relies on both brains and brawn to get him out of trouble and into it.

My Interests

Martial arts, Firearms, Ancient arms and armor, Screenwriting, those random things that happen at three in the morning, Cat lover, Connoisseur of Dumb Horror Films and Self Proclaimed Master of Vampire Lore:P

I'd like to meet:

Anyone not so far gone of a liberal as to be insane, My crazy friend Roland who dragged me onto this site, anyone into filmmaking, anyone not afraid of guns, anyone who likes storytelling in general, and anyone else who is cool in general.

Music:

pretty much anything that isn't rap but faves include Midnight Syndicate, Nox Arcana, Rammstein, HammerFall, Type O Negative, Dimmu Borgir, Disturbed, Motorhead, Manowar, Seether, Drowning Pool, a dash of Classical, most Celtic and any Rock that came from the 80's. The rest of my list is variable and is subject to change at my very whim, but rap/R&B are NEVER on it. At any time.

Movies:

My favorite genre is Horror, so most of my selections will be old because all the new horror directors nowadays have their head up their ass and don't know how to do it anymore. Anything from the real old films(Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Phantom of the Opera and so forth) up to The Evil Dead trilogy, Most of the old Universal films, the original NOTLD, and others, but mostly, after about the late 80's fugheddaboutit, though I will admit I have a fond weakness for Roger Corman films. It might be cheese, but it's some damn good cheese! NON HORROR films: Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, Life is Beautiful, Schindler's List(Though they conveniently left out the part of Schindler arming the Jews--Hollywood liberals piss me off), Apocalypse Now, Enemy At The Gates, and pretty much any Mel Brooks film.

Television:

I *have* a TV but rarely watch it. Nothing on TV worth a pint of piss anymore but the History Channel and Cartoon Network

Books:

Machiavelli-"The Prince"Sun Tzu-"The Art of War"Miyamoto Musashi-"The Book of Five Rings"Bill Warren-"The Evil Dead Companion"Bram Stoker-"Dracula"Jeff Cooper-"Principles of Personal Protection"Jeff Cooper-"The Art of the Rifle"

Heroes:

My Parents, Frank Castle, Lance Armstrong, Jeff Cooper, George Patton, Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, the minutemen at Concord and Lexington, and the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence.
