This site is a tribute to the Melodic Rock scene that emerged in the 80s and is on the resurge today. Groups like Hardline,White Lion, Bon Jovi, Europe, Warrant, Journey, Soul Siskus, Bad English, and so many more, called by names such as commercial rock, metal lite or the dreaded pop- metal, were just melodic hard rock dumped into the these generic genre depoes by record company A&R (who were at best failed musicians and not the best marketers.)Melodic Rock was shoved aside throughout the 90's so groups like pearl jam could get the shot.. but now something new and exciting has begun to take place, group like Journey, Europe, Hardline are releasing new meterial, along with multi touring success of groups like Motley Crue (red white and crue tour)
proving that the world is ready for screaming guitars , melodic hooks, real rock'n' roll, new bands are actually taking the time to learn from Neal Schon,John Norum,Vitto Brata, John Sykes, and Yngwie Malmsteen(melodic metal), the magazines , like Hitt Parader and Metal Edge have begun doing stories on Def Leppard and Bon Jovi again, A true to form Music revolutioon is taking place people are feed up with the doom and gloom metal durge, and dark downer side of music today,People Wanna rock and feel good ,hear music that is about their life something they can relate to, not some world wide social bullshit,about third world countries after the nuclear wars.
