Short History
The BeatBox.Be forum was founded by Minne Danhieux, the brother of Roxorloops. In April 2007, Beathead became the new webmaster and launched the international section and database along with some updates. With Roxorloops as the main promoter of BeatBox.Be our website gained popularity fast and is now one of the biggest beatbox sources and forums online. Nowadays, besides Beathead and Roxorloops, there are a lot of beatboxers worldwide helping out with the database and spreading the beatbox word ;)
Official Belgian Beatbox BattlesThe first official Belgian beatbox battle became reality in 2004 in the “Recyclart†(Brussels). Roxorloops battled Fatty K in the final and became the first official Belgian beatboxchamp. In 2005, he participated at the world championship beatbox in Leipzig (Germany). After a very close battle he became vice-champion of the world.
Powered by BeatBox.Be, the second official Belgian beatbox-battle (2006 in “'t Bronneken†(Asse)) started with Fatty K and ended with him. In a blistering final with Roustix he became the second Belgian beatboxchamp.
For the last official battle in 2007, BeatBox.Be hooked up with JimTV (Belgium TV Channel) to organize a big event in the “Petrol†(Antwerp). In an exciting final Céto had to beat Cristal in extra rounds to take the title.
Big up to all beatboxers in Belgium for showing spirit, creativity and skill on those battles.
