I am married to the love of life, Brent, and have been since December 2004.
He is in the Navy and has been in since September 1998. We dont' have any children yet, but hopefully some day soon.
We do have a dog, a boxer named Caiti.
I love photography. I've always had a passion for it.
My first camera was a 35mm Fuji Camera, I got it from a cigarette catalog.
I was on yearbook staff my senior year in highschool, where I used my Fuji Camera.
I didn't go digital until prolly around 2002.
I finally upgraded to a Canon Digital Rebel Xti, in the winter of 2007.
I am still learning my camera and far from where I want to be with my photography.
I focus mostly on floral photography but really want to get better at portraiture.
I look at other photographers as inspiration and motivation. I love to view work from others, gives me hope.
I don't mind sharing what knowledge I do have with others.

I love photography, and I think I've always had a passion for it. I wanted a camera so bad when I was around the age of 11 or 12, that my mother, who was a chain smoker, saved her cigarette tops and sent them in to get me a free camera from the cigarette company. I used that camera for years, I bet I used it for 10 yrs. I know it was the same camera I used for highschool yearbook staff. It was just a cheap 35 mm camera, but I loved having my camera on me at all times. I got introduced to digital about five years ago, I used a Kodak EasyShare. Some of the photos you will see here, were taken with that camera, those will be the ones with not so great quality, but I loved the pictures so much, I had to show them off anyways, but I finally scratched up enough to buy a new digital Canon Rebel Digital. YAY! Heck yeh! So, I have just recently gotten a good camera and started taking more photos. I mostly have nature photography, but I hope to add more people photography in the future.I started up a myspace page with my photography so I could share with family and friends something I love to do. Though I have no special training and I'm just now learning the trade, I consider myself a photographer. I have the passion, I just need the know how. I hope to someday take some classes so that I can learn to better my photography. I've mostly taken nature pics but I really want to get into doing human photography. So, I am hoping to make many friends here, and I am hoping to learn all I can learn. Whether it's from every day people with just a hobby, or those actually qualified and trained and up and running. I also enjoy looking at other peoples work, it amazes me, to see the way others think and look at things. I really want to improve, and I honestly look at other photographers as part of my inspiration. Thank you!
