We're Back

Over a year ago New City Horizon decided to call it quits and venture into different directions. Over the past year the individuals involved with our little band kept busy concentrating on school, working, and continuing to make music. After some well needed time off the band has simply decided to play together yet once again. We thank all the ex members of the band who have given their time, energy, have been so dedicated and believed in this musical adventure: Micah, Chris, Pete, Jordan, Nick, Andrew, Austin and Matt. But most importantly we thank all the fans and friends who have been so incredibly gracious and loving. You guys and our love for music are what really helped us decide to continue to chase this dream. We have had the pleasure to meet a lot of you and hope to meet the rest of you!

You Can Do Anything. Good music is timeless. Honest and real. New City Horizon has and continues to create some of the most epic, honest and moving music you might ever hear. Every word sung, every note played, even every snare hit means something. What it comes down to is: New City Horizon wants to move you. Make you think. And hopefully, give you one of the best feelings of your life. New City Horizon could be described as Alternative, indie, experimental, or even ambient. But making music goes far beyond the dangers of labeling. All New City Horizon wants you to do is listen. Austin Wimbish and Matt Thompson would meet in the small town of The Colony,TX in the heart of a bustling Dallas metroplex. Each of them have gone through their own different trials and experiences; there was one thing left to do...make music.
