On September 11, 1969, Alice Tully Hall opened with the first performance of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, beginning a new era for chamber music in the United States. Through its performance, education, and recording/broadcast activities, it draws more people to chamber music than any other organization of its kind.Chamber Music is Easy!
It's very easy with a Chamber Music 360 membership. For only $60, music fans between the ages of 21 and 39 get three tickets that can be used at any CMS event. How you use those three tickets is entirely up to you. Attend three different concerts or bring a couple of friends to one concert—it’s your choice. For complete info visit the CMS website.Calendar of Events
The Chamber Music Society opens its 2008-09 season on Thursday, September 25 at the Rose Theatre in the Jazz at Lincoln Center building (which is actually at Columbus Circle...but it's close enough) and we want you to come to the concert.
The evening will feature octets by Jean Francaix, Igor Stravinsky, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Franz Schubert. Complete concert info here.
