Influences: I have so many musical influences in the broad sense of music I love that it would be a long and varied list. Even if I was to limit it to drummers whose playing I admire and might aspire to come close to, it would still be a long list. There are a ton of great drummers out there and I know that I don't even know the names of many of them. Some of the top guys that immediately come to mind would include lots of the old school ususal suspects. In no particular order:Steve Gadd, Clyde Stubblefield, Jeff Porcaro, Ringo, Keith Moon, Elvin Jones, Kenny Aronoff, Charlie Watts, Shadow Wilson, Art Blakey, Billy Cobham, Max Roach, Michael Shrieve, Jack DeJohnette, Frankie Dunlop, Max Weinberg, Bill Riley, Michael Ware Stuart, Stephen Bladd, Al Jackson, Mick Avory, Benny "Papacita" Benjamin, Jabo Starks, the drummer for Dyke and the Blazers...the list can go on and on and there are no doubt dozens of obvious influences I've overlooked.
Sounds Like: The Kinks, The Who, The Yardbird, early Rolling Stones, Love, et al.
