About Me

I am mother of 3 amazing kids, wife to an extraordinary man, a recent grandma to the cutest little baby in the world, close friend to a few incredible people, and a woman with a great amount of potential. There is a story to each and every one of those previous items. :) I am a dreamer by nature, an actress by birth, and an artist at heart. Cynical and sarcastic. Optimistic, yet forever the devil's advocate. Lazy to the core. If there's alcohol or chocolate involved, count me in! I'm pretty much a rebel when it comes to "what's good for you". There are all kinds of things that I know I need to work on - and it is my INTENTION this year to do something about it.

My Interests

Sculpting, Gardening, Scrapbooking, photography, art of any kind, paranormal stuff...reading...researching....discovering new interestes and such. I bounce around in my interests like I do in my music. It's kind of annoying.

I'd like to meet:

Instead of people I'd like to meet...how about people I already know and love? Just take a look at my friends list - they say friends of a feather flock together. That must make me one strange old bird.... Music:

Everyone needs a soundtrack to their lives, and mine is pretty eclectic in nature. I love EVERYTHING...well, almost everything...Love the kind of music that you can feel in your soul. India.Arie, Ok Go, Fall out Boy, Christopher Cross...see what I mean?

Movies:

Check these out if you've never seen them: The Philidelphia Story Bringing Up Baby Some Like it Hot Thin Man (series...it's fantastic) Charade To Catch a Thief Adam's Rib Tracy/Hepburn movies rocked. The Notebook (of course) Casablanca

Television:

It's amazing how little television I watch these days, but mostly it consists of Heroes, Medium and the occasional Ghost Whisperer episode...and News...

Books:

Again, recently introduced to the Spenser series by Robert B Parker. If ya don't know Spenser...you need to. Other than that: Tao of Pooh Seat of the Soul Simple Abundance The DaVinci Code, and Angels and Demons...which I thought was better than the Davinci Code. Wicked - GREAT story, I highly recommend it! Heroes:

Katharine Hepburn -- an amazinginly strong woman. Mattie J.T. Stepanek - he was an angel here on earth for too short a time. We could use a few more Mattie's in the world. And Jimmy Stewart! He was wonderful - they don't make 'em like that anymore...
