My Interests

Interestes, what is there not to be interested in. I have a two year old and a husband, I am interested in everything involved with that. I love to learn. A lot of my 'knowledge' has come from the self made school of hard knocks, but slowly i'm moving past that to get a formal education. I am very interested in politics and the law. I am fascinated by the United States Judicial System. I also love flowers.

I'd like to meet:

Many politicians are in the habit of laying it down as a self-evident proposition that no people ought to be free till they are fit to use their freedom. The maxim is worthy of the fool in the old story who resolved not to go into the water till he had learned to swim. ~Thomas MacaulayI would love to meet anyone with personality. Every person in this world has something to offer, it's just a matter of motivation. Or lack there of. Who are you, what have you got to say? I'll meet you, or not :) Life is good. I have a variety of interests, so write me, and maybe we'll have something in common. One requirement: Honesty. Can't live without it!

Music:

I am a country girl. It took me a while to realize it, but here I am. No one says it better than George Strait. A man that can be himself with no extra thrills and still sells millions of albums. That's amazing. Besides country, I've been known to listen to classic rock and oldies of course :)

Movies:

Fast and the Furious (the first one, after Vin Disel left it just wasnt the same), Gladiator, Cannonball Run, Pulp Fiction, and of course Sweet Home Alabama (gotta have a chick flick :) And of course Gone is 60 Seconds I just watched shop girl the other day and that was.... different. A little thought provoking! Pirates of the Caribian, Sweet Home Alabama, Sisterhood of the traveling pants, Inside man............

Television:

I don't get to watch all that much... Don't have the time. Although John Cena on WWE RAW is always worth watching. I love law and order as well as CSI. One show I don't miss is Grey's Anatomy!! Desperate Housewives, Law and Order of course :)

adopt your own virtual pet!

Books:

Harry Potter is at the top. Childish I know but we all need to take a step back now and again. Leo Tolstoy, Thomas Moore, Barbara Vine, Aristotle, and Nietzsche, Patricia Cornwell, Tammy Hoag... just to name a few. I read a lot!

Heroes:

My grandfather. Howard Stephens. Awsome man, you could travel the world and never meet anyone better. Extreamly kind which is a rare in the world today. Great, great man. John Lennon is also someone I admire. I was born the day he was killed. Only the good die young.
