"By way of love"

You’re supposed declare big things like bankruptcy, and independence from oppressive governments,

About Me

Gorgeously Cheesy Song of the Week,=
"What About Now" by Chris Daughtry
Shadows fill an empty heart
As love is fading,
From all the things that we are
But are not saying.
Can we see beyond the scars
And make it to the dawn?
Change the colors of the sky.
And open up to
The ways you made me feel alive,
The ways I loved you.
For all the things that never died,
To make it through the night,
Love will find you.
What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
Baby, before it's too late,
What about now?
The sun is breaking in your eyes
To start a new day.
This broken heart can still survive
With a touch of your grace.
Shadows fade into the light.
I am by your side,
Where love will find you.
Now that we're here,
Now that we've come this far,
Just hold on.
There is nothing to fear,
For I am right beside you.
For all my life,
I am yours.
What about now?
What about today?
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
What about now?
I hold these truths to be self evident...
"My life verses are Matthew 28:20 "And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of this age." & Matthew 9:22 "Take heart daughter, for your faith has healed you." - and I have tattoos for both.

"I am just a girl, standing in front of a music industry, asking it to give me a job."
I am a senior at Texas A&M University. I am majoring in Sociology, which means I don't know about a whole lot, but what I do know is people. For better or worse, I am a people person (just not at 8 in the morning).
It's not that I think I have better taste in music than everyone else... its just that I don't understand why everyone doesn't have the same taste in music as me.
I think the two hardest parts of college are "candle passings" & obtaining 6 hours of Math credits.

I want to live on a tour bus full of boys for a summer in hopes that it will cure my urge to marry a rockstar.
When singing in the car, I sound freakishly like a cross between Amy Lee and one of the Dupree sisters from Eisley. - its pretty amazing.
I believe that the following people are going to make it far in the music industry if for no other reason than because I won't rest until it happens. (Foreign Oren, The Valentines, Ryan McCauley (our generation's version of Josh Freese), Gabe Guevara, Andrew "Neil", Oceans Firing, Green River Ordinance, Phil Wickham, the remnants of Acceptance...
I want to "break a band" at least once in my lifetime (And no that has nothing to do with Yoko Ono...),

Those who can't do, teach... but those who can't perform, PROMOTE!
To me... "Everlong" by Foo Fighters & "Colorblind" by Counting Crows are the MOST ROMANTIC SONGS ON THE PLANET!!!
"May those who love us, love us; and those who don't love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He doesn't turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we'll know them by their limping."
I think music is God's best idea ever. He must have been in an extra good mood the day he created it... probably drank a Mountain Dew or Cream Soda or something. - Sherri from Eisley
"From time to time in march of life we find ourselves in debt to something bigger than our willingness to stay comfortable. Our minds will sneak up on us and catch us when we least expect, asking if we truly understand what it means to "know thyself". I feel we all have a greater purpose to fulfill and it seems in vain effort to continue a path that does not truly belong to you. I need to find the place that defines who I am." Ryan Zwiefelhofer (Ain't that the truth!!!)

My Interests

I'D RATHER...
Fight for faith than believe in nothing...See a club show than one in a stadium...Be uncomfortable than bored...Not say something than regret something I said...Keep a secret than tell one...Sit in the back of class & Stand in the front at shows...Be at work than at school...Not do something I really want to do if I feel unoriginal...Get taken advantage of trying to do something good than to never even try...Have unnaturally colored hair...

I THINK...
It's a shame some people aren't mute..."Any type of love it will be shown"...Music is the only tangible thing that I could never live without...School isn't a waste of time but it can sure seem like it at the time..."The four right chords can make me cry"...I am destined to write the great American rock song...My expansive knowledge of random trivia is going to make me rich one day...My generation suffers from high expectations and a lack of genuine faith in people...Friendship is a verb that is too often treated as a noun...Arguing, not baseball, is the great American pastime...My sense of humor was solidified at the age of 4 - b/c people falling down will always be funny to me...I single-handedly keep Sonic in business with my DP addiction...Loyalty and chivalry aren't dead - just not used...There is a fine line between being naive and being ignorant - I hope I am nowhere near it...I will always be late...Anatomy and Physiology books are great places to find band names...Everyone has a "personality twin" somewhere in the world & I am afraid I don't like mine...I am legitimately going to win the lottery...I think about more than the average person - sadly I just think about awkward things like "If I tree falls in a forest and there's no one there to hear it... HOW THE HECK DID IT FALL DOWN IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!" - rather than things that would actually be beneficial to society...Garden State is the story of my life...

I LOVE...
My savior...my family (even if they are crazy)...my friends...our dog Sampson (AKA: our HOH)...the "INVISIBLE CHILDREN"...MUSIC (are you new here?)...going to shows...discovering new bands...knowing that I am right(it's my biggest vice but I'm dealing with it)...Anything considered "EMO" - because I think that encompasses all people and music that the rest of the world can't put in a category and decided to throw them all into one melting pot category - there's a million different types and I love them all!..."Everlong" by Foo Fighters...Believing when people tell me everything will be alright...Being alive...

I HATE...
HOME DEPOT & LOWES...mustard...doing anything that involves my car other than driving it...I TOLD YOU SO's...liquid medicine...guacamole...
