In fact we've just posted a demo version of a song we're putting on the next album. Its called Da (where are you now?) and it's been getting a good response from audiences at gigs - hope you like it.
As far as gigs go we're already booked for the Kenilworth Festival and working on other dates and venues - so keep an eye on this page for more info.
We were recently featured on music podcast Brumcast 132 - previously we were also on Brumcast 130 -Go Wild. Brumcast goes out on internet radio station rhubarb.com every Monday evening. Brumcast is also available on listen again from their archive.Pics from gigs last year have now been posted in an album on here.

Firedaze plays original music that fuses folk, rock and dance rhythms. After spending much of last year recording their first album the band are now really enjoying doing much more of their first love which is playing live.
Here's the Firedaze story so far......
Firedaze emerged as a gigging 3-piece in 2006. The band was set up by Steff and String. They'd previously been in UK roots rock band Dead After Dark and they were joined in the new band by fiddle player Jen.
The band's debut album Triality was recorded over the next year and released right at the end of 2007.
In early 2008 there was a further line up change with the introduction of bodhran player Steve but in mid 2009 the band reverted to the original line up. Live dates now see Firedaze on stage with catchy fiddle melodies, strong vocal performances and a driving bass and drum track. 2010 should see the release of a new Firedaze album.
Live gigs currently feature most of the songs from Triality plus an ever growing number of new songs some of which should make it to the new album. The resulting sound is still-changing, ever-fresh, and guaranteed to make you want to dance. If the fiddle and guitar don't get you, the bass and drums certainly will.
