Formed in 1997, Asskicker has been rallying up a loyal following with every show they play. Their debutalbum The End of Alternative became theme musicfor the metro-Detroit area. In 1998 Asskicker'sfounding members, Derek Mitea, Mike Gay and Ryan Mazur decided to part ways with their original vocal istand brought in Frank Lazorishchak to spit new life into the microphone. Soon after, The Barley and Yeast Brain Glaze was forged, and with it came an eleven song set of formulaic chaos. With tunes like "See You in Pain," "Victim," and the drum-heavy "Grove of the Flesh Trees," Asskicker has prepared their arsenal for rhythmic destruction and have set a course to conquer. Every live show becomes a chaotic ode to aggression the minute they take stage. And with countless gigs under their belt, their performance skills have honed. When coupled with their genuine music talent , all will soon learn that Asskicker is a major contendor in the heavy-weight bout for the top.
