RadioWiD

RadioWiD is an independent, non-commercial, internet radio, supporting the idea of ethnic religions. It is a movement propagating the culture and faith based on mythologies, local traditions and folklore of a given ethnic group. Our mission is to make those cultures well known in the easiest and most interesting way for all people, who feel the need to explore their own roots. Through the different forms of sounds: music and word, we want to inform, educate and entertain concurrently showing the beauty of the folk culture. We mostly put attention into Slavonic traditions. :::::We present folk music from European culture circle, as we see the traditional music as part of cultural achievements. We are trying to show how the music evolves from traditional, archaic forms into fully contemporary music. We are trying to promote every aspect of commitment into folk music, so we play the records of amateurs or musicians who are trying to enter the professional folk scene as well as fully professional, commercial folk bands or musicians. Apart from the folk, we play also rock or metal music, mostly from independent scene. :::::Not to mention, RadioWiD is trying to provide a patronage on different cultural events related with widely apprehended folk scene or a sequel of folk or pagan traditions, such as folk concerts, exhibitions, lectures, and, in the future, record releases. :::::In RadioWiD we are playing music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from auto player and almost every evening, we are broadcasting live.:::::Schedule:::::@ Mondays (21-23) - RadioWIDowisko: Lendzian plays music from such genres as power metal, heavy metal and progressive rock.
