About Me

In Lacrima focuses on creating pure instrumental songs, deep with emotion and songs of despair, using only acoustic guitars as their primary sound source. The members, Michael Tran and Jordan Tiongco, started collaborating in the beginning of the summer of 2005. Although their roots are in Death Metal/Deathgrind and Goth/Dark Wave, they feel that one of the main sources of genuine anguish comes from the versatile acoustic guitar. With influences such as Riverside, Byla, Will Ackerman, & Opeth, to name a few, their journey towards the art of writing music has just begun.
