I like one word TV shows: Medium, Bones, Numbers, 24 (it counts - it's hyphenated), Bullshit. Exceptions: Dr. Who, Daily Show and Mercer Report. I get all of my news from fake news sources and they're more truthful then "real" news sources. Very sad.
Neil Gaiman (Good Omens/American Gods/Coraline), Alan Lightman (Einstein's Dreams), Jonathon Carroll (Land of Laughs), Douglas Adams (if you don't already know then you don't deserve to know), Joanna Harris (Chocolat), Nick Hornby (High Fidelity), Neil Gaiman (Anansi Boys), John Irving (Prayer for Owen Meaney), Ben Elton (all decent British comedy), Alexandre Dumas (Count of Monte Cristo - see, I'm cultured), Stuart McLean (Vinyl Cafe stories), Nick Bantock (Griffin & Sabine), Laura Esquivel (Like Water for Chocolate), Kurt Vonnegut (see Douglas Adams comment), and...um...Neil Gaiman (The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish).
My brother.
