Harbour Music was started in 2001 by Monica Solano and Jeanne Caprioli as a Management/Booking/Promotions Company. Monica has a family obligation that she is currently handling so she's had to take some time for that. But I have not stopped with my promotions and ideas.My family & friends are also still a major part of what I do and why I am who I am.In the begining We made a deal with each other that unless we feel passionately about a band and it's music and actually like the Musicians as people they will not even be considered. That will not change. In 2007, We have been blessed with getting a new partner, his name is Steve Parker, who I found has our vision/instinct and our passion for helping the bands we work with getting their music out there & heard. NO MATTER WHAT WE HAVE TO DO.Steve is also a graphic artist for anyone who needs one let us know. He is the genius behind the great look with our page here.I usually do my promotions free to any Musician I feel deserves it, however, One pet peave I do have that will have you looking for a new way to get heard is disrespect. Whether it be toward a member of HM, your own band or any Company or Musician who is affiliated with Harbour Music. We are a family!!!!Nothing wrong with disagreements, everybody has an opinion. But disrespect WILL NOT be tolerated.Also, There is nothing wrong with confidence, however, cockiness and verbal abuse between anyone whether it be the same group or another we have as clients will not be tolerarated. As one of our clients found out the hard way, disrespect in any form, especially when it's thrown toward a member of the Harbour Music Family, will not be tolerated and you will be let go and all the 'free promotions' I have done for you will be pulled in a heartbeat. LITERALLY!I have been in the music business for over 20 yrs and have worked with many Musicians and 'larger' known Artists. I've quit working with labels because I choose who I work with now. I've dropped Bands for something as small as creative differences(when their new music sucks) so I will not hesitate to stop helping if I feel the quality isn't there and can't be created or if the band members are in the 'I think the music/vocals are great' and put it out anyway without even considering the advice of HM's partners.I refuse to send people to a concert or to by a CD from any band that I wouldn't listen to/spend money to hear myself.That being said...I am loyal to a fault to those I help & bust my backside getting a band heard I feel deserves it.We will book any band we feel has talent. That's why we need at least 1 press kit at first. If we decide to work with your band we will need more to help 'sell' your music and get shows booked.For the Management, Booking, & Promotions part of HM please Understand this...We are NOT promoters. We are a small company who is doing this because we have a passion for the music and the Artists who make it. Everything has to fit or we will not take on a band. So if you have these 3 qualifications send us a press kit and after we go over it and listen to your music we will call you.Steve and I are in charge with the Northeast area.
