About Me

When I was 18 years old, I received a Yamaha Acoustic Guitar for my high school graduation. I began trying to sing before I could change chords while playing. I knew I wanted to play music in front of people and that was my eventual goal. I played in my dorm room for hours on end and recorded terrible songs that sounded even worse with a simple PC microphone. I only played for a few people, those close to me. I finally started playing open mics my sophomore year of college and from then on I played, what seemed like, every day and night. I met a great guy named Joe Williamson, who had a studio in his home. I recorded 14 songs over three years. Hank Tart added drums on a few tracks, and Joe on others. Barret Lingenfelter joined "The Emotion Project", junior year of college and we played a few shows together and wrote a few songs. I never had the opportunity to play a full band show until 2006, when I moved to LA. Tom Holloran (bass) and Andrew Hillary (drums), along with Dave Basaraba (keys) began playing with my in 2006 and between my time working on Scrubs, managed to make my songs come to life. And a huge thank you to those on Scrubs who truly made more of my dreams come true when my songs were used on the show 4 times. Hopefully you’ll like some of these songs and tell your friends.
