About Me
Persecutor was formed in early 2005 in Pabianice. The aim was to play raw, ugly metal inspired by Motorhead, Throneum, Witchmaster, Gospel Of The Horns, Abominator, Bestial Mockery, Order From Chaos, At War, Imperator, old Sodom & Destruction and many other metallic desecrators. Band started as a four piece (Wojtek - axe, screams, Faza - axe, Tomat - bass, and Golec - battery). played a few gigs and an awful lot of rehearsals during 2005. This first line-up didn't however last too long and by the end of the 2006, Wojtek remained the only member of the band. Soon afterwards, the new line up was formed: Janek on bass, Rachu on drums and Wojtek doing axe and screams. Persecutor reworked some of the old songs and also new assaults were prepared. The result was band’s first demo, "Army of Damned", recorded in February 2007 in Mariusz Pikor’s home studio. These four dirty tank’n’rollin tracks gained some interest and mainly enthusiastic reviews among underground maniacs. "Army of Damned" is still available via the band and some distros. Soon after the first demo, the new vocalist Stachu joined the noise squad. Persecutor then entered Mariusz’s studio again and recorded new 8 songs and a Nunslaughter cover. This new material was called "Wings Of Death". Not long after the recording session, Janek and Stachu left the band. By the end of 2008, "Wings Of Death" was released on tape by Bolivian label Rawblackult, and on cd by Time Before Time Records from Poland. The band remains active as a two-piece. Currently Persecutor is preparing new tank'n'rollin attacks for the next assault. Let's see what the future brings. We'll keep on playing that shit you hate so much!!!
