Hi there to one and all, and welcome to my friendly little myspace site!!
So, a little about me.... I've been playing musical instruments since an early age, and have vague recollections of the harmonica being my first when I was four or five, but truly found a passion when I first picked up a guitar about 28 years ago...
Well, after guitar lessons and the usual route of dodgy cover bands at high school, I moved to Grimsby in 1996, and met and played with a wealth of fine musicians, including (in no particular order) Starvin' Sid, Broadsword, The Honeybadgers, Vintage, The Houseshakers, and if I've forgotten you then please forgive me!!!!
I've had the opportunity to travel a little bit in Europe, and have always found my guitar to be a great icebreaker, be it playing live on French radio, busking on the streets, playing in a bar, or just sat in a park on a sunny day, music truly is the greatest international language of them all!
Currently I'm undergoing quite a few projects, I play acoustic guitar and sing for the Honeybadgers, who are a Grimsby/Cleethorpes based original folk/rock/blues/country band & play harmonica for the Houseshakers, (rock n roll/blues). I play solo spots when I get the chance, and I have recently reformed Broadsword, a celtic, jiggy trio, so you could say that i'm a 'jam tart' to paraphrase my mate Rachel!
