Left Coast Live is the premier downtown San Jose music event debuting in Spring 2009 (May 11 - 15), featuring events from an educational discussion series to an Outdoor Cinema to a multi-venue live music festival.
LCL’s events span the entire week of May 11 – 15, 2009, with the intent of providing great entertainment, while offering opportunities for attendees to interact with artists. Events include:
* “Sound of Things to Come†Discussion Series, providing a forum to explore different aspects of music in today’s society from digital music and industry trends to intimate artist discussions.
* A music-focused Outdoor Cinema
* Preview concerts of several acts performing in the Friday night concerts
* Friday night live music festival at 30 venues throughout downtown San Jose featuring acts in a variety of styles, including rock, jazz, and Latin.
In support of Earth Day, Left Coast Live will also feature ideas and products for eco-friendly, urban living.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit San Jose Jazz’s music education program.
