About Me

I'm Mike Summers. I live in a forrest full of sand and pine cones. I like cars and anything else that involves the fusion of various scientific disciplines. I play a little poker, NLHE is my best game, 0-8 or Stud-8 are my favorites. I really enjoy hockey, although I don't get a chance to play as often as I'd like. I can laugh about absolutely anything, but I definitely don't take everything as a joke. I have a circle of close friends who are very important to me. At one point or another during each day I am frustrated at how far I am from being the person I want to be. I go to college (BCC), I go to work (Red Lion Diner) and I go to sleep. I am a prolific destroyer of iPods, and if I were a Disney princess, I would be Belle. Other than all of that, I'm boring as shit.
My AIM is "oFreakFooto" I keep late hours, and am always up for new people.
Which Disney Princess Are You?
Belle
You are bookish but incredibly pretty. Belle was first seen in Beauty and the Beast (1991)

My Interests

In no specific order: Cards, Miata, hockey, music, learning new stuff, meeting new people, trying new things.

I'd like to meet:

You!; Stephen Hawking; Daniel Negreanu; Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy (at the same time); Hayao Miyazaki; Carl Sagan; intelligent, down-to-earth ladies; anyone capable of original thought

Music:

#7 is a shitty file, skip it.

Pop music in most of it's various forms, more specifically: Michael Jackson pre-1990, Brand New, Interpol, My Morning Jacket, Bjork's first three albums, Thursday, Sublime, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, anything me and Cody can flip out to in the Jeep, some Carribean music, Indie rock, emphis soul, Motown, and I'm always looking for fresh stuff that sounds good.

Movies:

Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ronin, Unforgiven, A Fish Called Wanda, The Birdcage, Spirited Away, Rushmore, Heat, Rounders, Blues Brothers, I just saw Platoon for the first time and it was fuckin insane. Anything directed by Michel Gondry. Any sketch comedy with Aziz Ansari, and any stand up by Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, or Eddie Izzard

Television:

There's this truck show on Spike TV where some walking mullet gets a welder and reengineers his truck's entire suspension weekly for like 20 dollars (boy is niice). I watch some Iron Chef, and sometimes some Discovery channel. I don't watch a lot of TV really, but I saw each of these a couple times and I thought they were cool.Politically Incorrect. Good show.

Books:

Reading now:
Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil
Want to read soon:
Critique of Dialectical Reason - Jean Paul Sartre
Why I am not a Christian and Other Essays - Bertrand Russell
Midnight Children - Salman Rushdie

Heroes:

THE STIG!

Here is some whack ass quiz I took:
Name (as shown on birth certificate): Ian Michael Summers
D.O.B (no lies.): July 14, 1984
Where were you born?: Moutn Holly, NJ
Where do you currently reside?: Jersey
Let's get to know the REAL you. You know, the stuff on the inside. ARE YOU:
Serious/Light-hearted?: Both, but usually easy going.
Dry/Out there - sense of humor?: I tend to be goofy, with the occaisonal dash of subtlety or wit. As far as what I find funny, I laugh at everything.
Selfish/Selfless?: I fall in the middle.
Academic/Athletic?: Yes/I try hard.
Trusting/TrustWORTHY?: Yes.
Happy on the inside AND outside?: I am a lucky guy and I know it.
Easy/Hard to talk to?: Easy unless I don't like you.
... able to open up to others easily?: No.
Stressed out at times?: Very much so.
Heartbroken?: no.
Honest with yourself?: Almost always.
A heartbreaker?: Hymen breaker maybe.......seriously though, no, I'm not a heart breaker.
In love?: No.
... loved?: Hopefully.
Smart?: When I was younger I really thought so, but I am beggining to think it was because I was too stupid to know how much in life I have no clue about.
Open to suggestions?: Unless they're stupid, and/or uninformed.
Open to change?: Yes.
Religious?: Only when shit goes seriously wrong. But I think that has a lot o do with the fact that am scared of the idea of living in a world with no God. If we insist on classifying my beliefs, we can call me agnostic in order to keep this moving.
A good friend?: I try very hard to be, I think I usually succeed.
Now, on to music choices, yeah?
Band:: Interpol
Best Song:: Stella was a Diver
Another Band:: Brand New
Best Song:: Play Crack the Sky
Another?: Al Greene
Best Song:: So Tired of Being Alone
Come on, one more band:: Led Zepplin
... and, the song?: D'yer M'ker
Is there a station that you like the best?: G-rock is alright, but it's usually my iPod or mix Cd's if anything..
What music do you HATE?: Most techno, Indonesian music is kind of annoying.
Is there a song for every emotion?: For me personally, yes.
Which are you feeling right now?: Introspective.
What's your FAVORITE all time song (as of now) ?: I could never pick out one.
Enough with MUSIC. On to RELATIONSHIPS!
Status?: Single.
Like it?: Its ok. Do you have a crush right now?: Haven't had a "crush" since I was like twelve.
Names, please: Scarlett Johansson is pretty hot. Eva Mendes too, wouldn't kick them out of bed.
First kiss:: Some weird girl at Hartigans house (don't remember her name).
Virgin?: No.
Best relationship advice/quote ever:: "These violent delights have violent ends, and in their triumph die, like fire and powder, which as they kiss, consume. The sweetest honey is loathesome in it's own delisciousness, and in the taste confounds the appetite. Therefore love moderately; love long doth so, too swift arrives as tardy as too slow" - Shakespeare

"Fuck a slut if she aaint feelin me." - Tatiana from Friendly's. Shakespeares got nothing on that.
Marriage and kids someday?: Yes, after school/when I grow up.
Have you met "the one" ?: Keanu Reeves?
Do you BELIEVE in "the one" ?: If there is only one person out there for each of us, then I don't like our odds, so no.

Do you ...
... drink?: When the time is right, I'll have a few.
... party?: Used to, now I am busy all the time, so I'd rather chill and shit then go crazy.
... smoke?: When I drink a lot or go a day w/o sleeping I might.
... drugs?: Never.
... tell secrets?: Unless they're mine.
... like to dance?: If I am trashed in Johnny's basement singing Hotel California with his father (for the fifth consecutive time), otherwise probably not.
... like to sing?: When I touch the mic, I lose control.
... dye your hair?: Not for a long long time.
... drive?: When I'm not pulled over by lesbian police officers in the Borough, or my truck isn't broken.
... listen to music while you do homework?: I listen to music when I brush my teeth....
... DO your homework?: Is it part of my grade?
... make good grades?: Depends on what constitutes "good".
... have pets?: Yes (see pictures).
... like to read?: Definately, I read as much as possible.
Just to clear some things up ... and finish this off:
Right/Left Handed:: Right.
What side of the bed do you sleep on?: I'm all over the place. I'm rolling around, hugging pillows, everything.
Last person you hugged?: La la liscious.
Last person you called?: Hartigan probably.
..
Last person who called YOU?: Johnny
Last person you texted?: No clue
Last person who texted YOU?: Cody
Last IM?: Don't remember.
Last thing you thought?: I'm tired.
Last thing you said aloud?: "Okay, thank you"
What was the last thing you wanted to say .. but didnt?: "Thanks for nothing dude."
