Music is often defined in terms of genres; however, sometimes from the fusion of many styles emerge brand new concepts and ideas which form the basis of a new genre known as: abstract. No one knows this better than the creator of this music, Marcos Orlando a.k.a 3L3M3NT and now known as ABSTRAKT. Abstract is the synthesis of individuality, creativity and influence all manifested in the form of art. He was spawned by these concepts and his style was formed. His journey started with a tape deck, always recording his favorite pieces in a song on a tape, music from spaniard flamenco, classical, jazz, guttural death metal, blues, sicilian, even parts in movies. Doing this he would imagine some of these elements combined. When he was 19 he finally decided that he needed turntables. Going hungry for 2 months to invest, he finally got what he needed. And the abstract manifest began, after 5 months of having turntables he made an 18 track demo on a cassette. He got a hold of an old friend: Michael Fuentes of Metropolis Recording Studio that had recorded artists such as: Fat Joe, Lil Flip, Bizzy Bone and other big names. He asked Mike if he can convert the Tape to a CD. After doing so Mike suggested the he make an album. 1 week later he started working and on September 2007 he made his 1st album: Abstract Manifestation followed by his 2nd: The Spawn (Interlude Album).By his 3rd album: A Blissful Chaos, he evolved to ABSTRAKT. After trying to get signed with Def Jam, Motown, Capital, Universal, Sony, Artista and others. He decided that he wasnt going to wait so he made is own label: ABSTRAKT 7 - The brand that can be trusted to bring you Creativity through Individuality in the form of art. ABSTRAKT has not stopped his grind, he is still paying dues till dues are payed. He has evolved into a style that is the talk of the town.
