One of Colorado’s most original rock bands, Firemouth is passionate about entertaining all audiences with energy and versatility. Their style mixes a bit of everything; funk, grunge, psychedelic, blues, punk, indie-rock and a whole lot more. Their songs tell tales about American arrogance, love lost and drinking.
Firemouth has performed at many of Colorado’s finest venues, including; Herman’s Hideaway, Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, 3 King’s Tavern, The Lion’s Lair, the Larimer Lounge and many others. They have shared the stage with some great local artists like The Jimi Austin, The Other Side of Clearview, Gription and countless more.
Firemouth began in 2007 with Mike Keesler and James Lawn jamming, drinking some beers and writing songs in the basement. After a long night of partying, drummer Dave Strauss joined the band. In 2008 Calvin Graves (guitar) and Dan Sheck (bass) joined the band bringing a new level of creativity and experience. The band has big things coming in 2009, including a bunch of shows, and a professional Demo to be released this May.
