Whiskey Baggio aka Frisky Badness is one of the new faces of Jamaican dancehall music. Born Dwayne Hall in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland, Whiskey started his DJ career at a very early age and was one of the DJ clash kings of Western Jamaica. He attended Petersfield High School and was a very talented soccer player (hence the name “Baggioâ€) and represented them in the School Boy Dacosta Cup competition. Whiskey was named Frisky Badness by the Don Gorgon Ninja Man on a night when he clashed every DJ, including the “Don Gorgon†himself, at a show. Ninja Man gave him his title and sent him on his way to claim the dancehall scene in Jamaica.Whiskey has performed on some the biggest Reggae Stages in Jamaica; including Reggae Sumfest, Sting, Unity Splash and Western Consciousness. He has been blazing the western dancehall scene for the past 8 years with his high energy and classy stage performances. He has hosted his live shows at Village Café on two occasions. He is multi-talented; he sings, DJs, and raps, and is a without a doubt a very rare talent. His versatility allows him to appeal to both the local dancehall audience and also to the international music market. Whiskey Baggio is the future of the Jamaican Dancehall and International Reggae scene.In 2005, Whisky signed a management deal with Icehills Entertainment Executives - Garold Hamilton and Ali Piliner. He released his first single, “Senseless Killingâ€, in 2006, which featured Father Bookie, another Icehills artist. This single is being played in heavy rotation on the local radio stations. His most recent single “Wuk Gal†on the Swarm riddim is blazing up the dancehall scene. The video for this single was shot by the International ICU Entertainment; it is currently on Youtube and is frequently seen on Hype TV Channel. This 77 Klash produced single is available on iTunes for download and is available in 7†45s distributed by the legendary Tuff Gong Record Label. Whiskey Baggio is currently working on releasing his first album and is working with Kareem “Smoke†Goodison of Orange Hills Records and various local producers. He is the first face of Ice Hills Entertainment and is currently blazing the dancehall scene with his high-energy performances. A testament to his high appeal is that he is currently first on the list of most dancehall promoters. One of his most recent performances was alongside Richie Spice in the Bahamas.Be on the look out for the new Icehills Entertainment team along with their new artists Whiskey Baggio and Father Bookie.
