metta metta ART is a platform for Kenyan art. Our goal is to make known Kenyan artists locally as well as abroad.
"metameta" is a Swahili-word meaning 'shining' or 'sparkling', and we strive to make Kenyan art shine and sparkle all over the world..
One of our departments is operating as an Indie label working with Afro-beat music. During the past few months, we have been collaborating with INDIGO PRODUCTIONS towards recording Kenyan singer and composer - MUTINDA .
We also work with artists like Abbi ,
Barbara Guantai , and
Teto .
Besides music-production, metta metta ART is promoting Kenyan contemporary dancers such as Kanyenje , Ukenia Dance Theatre , Alama Dance Company, Mman Dance Company, Kunja Dance Theatre
and also the dance-group : Pamoja , which is a project empowering disabled people to use their disabilities as different abilities in modern dancing.
In our creative department we work with visual art such as photography, painting, and web. Finally, we engage in performances and event-management.
