Yo! It's awesome that you've found yourself on this page. Actually it’s amazing, because you are witnessing the young talent of an upcoming artist named, "Emily Tasker". Emily turned Sweet Sixteen on the 23rd of March 2008. Her first word was ‘Yabadabadoo’ (you know, from the Flintstones?) but that isn’t relevant to her singing. When Em was little she discovered her natural talent, when she started singing to herself. She has been writing since seven years of age, has recorded an EP, and is constantly writing songs for her album. On top of all that, this dedicated girl plays guitar, attends High School, and deals with normal, everyday life! Emily recently did a deal with 272 records and Acoustika so now her Song "Remember" is being released on Acoustika Vol. 11, on June 17th 2008.

~ B I O G R A P H Y ~
The Full Name is Emily Taneisha-Kate Tasker. Emily still attends high school and has a part time job. Although she is busy with her social life, Emily always finds time to focus on her music as a future career plus something to do in her spare time. Emily Tasker truly is dedicated. "I love it when you find a song that relates to how you're feeling or have felt. Music is the best therapy for any mood, if you're sad, angry, happy etc..". She also has done modeling, acting courses and a NIDA course with her Best friend, Ashley. Her favourite subjects are Drama and Music. Emily has been playing guitar for almost 3 years now. Since 2005 she has been working on recording her songs, has performed a few these songs and a has done a few covers from various artists such as, Avril Lavigne , Brie Larson. Aly & Aj and Krystal Meyers. All the music you hear of Emily’s has been written from the heart and soul. Emily generally focuses her songs on everyday life such as relationships and growing up. “I write these songs because I know that I’m not the only one who feels the way I do about certain situations, and I know that other people can relate to my songs.”
In 2007, Emily’s first song, “Remember”, was released. This was followed by "Mr.X", which was stopped to be recorded and released another time. Until then, keep checking to see this child grow into something great!
