2009 marks a new beginning for the The Universal Scientist as they have been laying the foundation for their upcoming album and visual tour. The Universal Scientist plan on releasing two singles by June with an expected cd by the start of October.When Motiv8 met Rhett he saw a young, talented and focused artist with the passion to learn and expand. Motiv8 has since taken Rhett under his wing to teach him the ways of production, and the music buisness. Rhett saw Motiv8 as a mentor from day one and has set the bar high and put Rhett up to biger challenges.The chemistry between the two has inspired fresh new ideas and perspectives; fostering a powerful alliance that would give birth to an artistic collaborative called The Universal Scientist. Whenever time allows (from touring + side projects),The Universal Scientist get to the lab to experiment, construct and re-define a new fusion of musical style and visual sound that puts them aside from your day to day group.The concept behind The Universal Scientist was to form a group around a mix of many different and diverse elements. The Uni Sci sound is electro-organic fusion with with stabs and kicks from a multitude of genres.
