About Me

The mission of the Spiral Dance Womyn's Center and Bookstore is to provide educational, emotional, physical, and spiritual resources to those individuals who were born and raised female in a patriarchal world. We provide the space and resources womyn need to empower themselves personally, politically, socially, spiritually, economically, and collectively. Our goal is to model womyn's collective work and micro-economic practices, and to help womyn develop the practical skills they need to work for both personal and social change.You can also visit us at our homepage www.thespiraldancebookstore.com ..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We are looking for womyn who are willing to lead various types of workshops for womyn including reading groups, exercise/martial arts classes, typing and computer classes, studying for GED, and womyn who are willing to care for children while their mothers are participating in the various events and programs that the center will be offering. Also, renovations of the center are not complete, so we are looking for womyn to volunteer with the renovations. No prior experience, skills, or knowledge is needed. If you are willing to serve in any of these capacities, please contact us to volunteer.
