The body of Christ received a gift from God when Minister JeVon D. Moore was born. Minister Moore is the youngest of three sons to LaPlause and Diane Moore on March 6, 1987 in Chicago, IL. In January of 2003, at the age of 15, he preached his Trial Sermon entitled â??I Dare You.â? He is a son in the ministry to Bishop William L. Jordan--Senior Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church Cathedral in Harvey, IL. He has served the youth and media ministries at St. Mark diligently until He followed the voice of God to go and pursue his Bachelors of Arts Degree.Minister Moore is a 2005 graduate of Rich South High School. While at Rich South he served in many leadership roles including President of Student Council, Senior Class Vice-President, and Morning Announcement Host for four years, along with other numerous activities. Currently Minister Moore attends the historic Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA as a Religion major and Leadership Studies minor. While in Atlanta, Minister Moore is very active in both his school and community. He serves as a Resident Assistant for W.E.B DuBois Hall, member of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel Assistants Organization, tutors students at a local elementary school, and president of Gathering of the Saints (a campus outreach ministry).Minister Moore is a testament of Philippians 1:6â?¦Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. God is completing a good work in Minister Moore in that He has allowed him to preach the gospel in many arenas to people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds.
