Too long has Melbourne been swamped in a wasteland of magazines, from fashion and music to social satire! Behold the dawn of a new era of pretty visuals and sexy words. While other street presses come across as that bleach blonde party girl with orange skin, or that indy rock groupie who hasn't seen running water or a bar of soap for the last ten years, behold, I Prefer Pencil, that cute, intelligent, arty girl with those "deep in thought" eyes. From many sleepless nights from behind our computer, we will bring to you a selection of young, talented, aspiring writers and artists (whom are almost as starving as ourselves), all wrapped up together to make a steet-press with lots of cool words and pretty (and some not so pretty) pictures.
