ICBM, standing for Intercontinental Ballistic Metal, was formed in 2003 by guitarist Steven and drummer Lyndon. Quickly, Lyndon's brother Frank was added to the mix taking the duties of bass player. They quickly began composing music and gained a fair bit of notoriety in their local area by placing second in the local battle of the bands. Then, in the summer of 2006, Brandon was added to the lineup as a second guitarist. However, in a sudden whim, Brandon also took over the empty spot of vocalist as well as his duties as guitarist. Quickly ICBM took advantage of this new lineup, writing heavier and more melodic material as well as winning the local battle of the bands. Now, ICBM has won other contests such as the Band of the Week competition on Raven's Eggs and Kegs radio segment on KWTFworldwide.com and has gained fans from not just Illinois, but from around the world. Their blend of catchy melodies and heavy rhythms will propel them far into the metal scene.
