looking for- a healthy mix of adventure, honesty, whimsy, wit, pride, and passion- sounds like any one of a thousand dudes huh?
well my ipod is currently set at over 6500 songs- so you can tell i really dig my music- the bulk of my collection is 70's and 80's r&b and soul music- issac hayes, barry white, the spinners, the emotions, earth, wind, and fire, all the motown bros and sistas, rick james, teena marie (i got to see her recently at essence fest in nola- incredible- i was only saddened that they didn't let me do the rick james parts in her songs- guess my tan wasn't good enough yet- or they thought i might smack her hehehe) then we move onto more recent tunes by mary j. blige, jay-z, biggie, tupac, madonna, mariah, whitney, tina turner, etc. i also keep it kind of a secret- but i dig 70's country tunes- all that hair has me i think- so willie nelson, tammy wynette, loretta lynn, dottie west, conway twitty, waylon jennings, marty robbins, and merle haggard. I like some opera, but since i can't even pronounce half the names, i am not going to list them. the music that bernard herrmann did for all of the hitchcock movies is also great for background tunes while around the house or tooling in my car.im sure i will think of more- but mainly- anything i can shake my fanny too- i love!!
