I was born in Santiago, Chile. I started to get interested in music since I was a child, every saturday morning my dad listened classic music, and I learnt the melodies automatically. Also I use to listen rock and pop music. When I listened Slash playing his solos with Guns and Roses I got crazy, I said: I want to play like him. I started taking basic guitar lessons with a very good music teacher. I played in a acoustic steel strings guitar and after in a nylon string guitar. I learn to play many tipically folk songs of our country (Chile). When I graduate from the school i began study music composition and arrangement in Escuela Moderna. I studied there around two years, and I learnt a lot. After that I dediced take guitar lessons with Alejandro Silva, I had seen him in a gig and I got amazed with his guitar technique. I studied with him about three years. Then I started to teach guitar and at the same time I began to study Sound Technology. I created a recording studio with a friend, but after each one took differents ways and actually I had my own studio, where I work composing jingles, tracks for singers, recordings and of course teaching guitar.
The Bands:
I started with Din-Ilahi, a cover band. We played around one year and a couple of gigs.
Then I played with May, It was a cover band tribute to Queen. ( I always admire Brian May)
After I joined Thesastre, a metal band
Subsequently with a very good friends, we created Otro Mundo. We composed a lot of special and instrumental music and we recorded a CD. We played together several years.
Also I played with Gustavo Biermann Band
Then I played in Contraseña Orchestra. It was a wedding/events band. Sometimes I play with them.
In 2005 I was invited to play in a band called Ornitorrinco. Actually we play, record and compose music.
