People ask me frequently why I changed my upcoming album title from “Poor Dream Redemption†to “9 Rooms in the Black Hotel,†especially since I have been aggressively promoting that original album title, “Poor Dream Redemption,†for the last few years… Here is the answer… I had some changes in my personal, spiritual and business life and wanted to show them in the growth of my music. This album still illustrates the redemption from the days of being poor and homeless and dreaming of a shot at a successful career in music… however my ultimate goal is different. It is no longer to make a name for myself in this business, but instead, I seek the triumph of glorifying God and reaching as many people as possible throughout the world.

“9 Rooms in the Black Hotel†is my journey and growth that was written in the different hotels I stayed in while traveling across the US. But behind the title lies much more… It is the story of the different facets of the human personality, existing within the same body, like the distinctive characteristics of each room in a hotel, and how we can look at what we exhibit to come to know who we are.
