Licking frozen flagpoles, chemistry, action figures, sustainable living, travel near, far, and farther still, backpacking, any kind of performance, flying by the seat of my pants, insubordination, mythology, folk tales, ghost stories, alchemy, history, illuminated manuscripts, finding the perfect lipstick, people who fix stuff, engineering, medieval torture practices, ancient weaponry, watching people practice Capo Ferro or capoiera, the chemistry of poisons, archery, getting really, really dirty in a non-figurative sense, linguistics, quantum physics, gardening, little green men, cults, cult classics, anthropology, geology, crazy cat people, archaeology, dismantling atomic weaponry, making cabinets, timelords, browncoats, dorks, geeks, nerds, philosophy, art for art's sake, tragically cute boys that my dad would hate ... or, just those who can hold thier own and install wit into most any conversation.
Apart from the bunch of unlikely great folk with whom I am already acquainted, I would like to meet those with a soul, a spine, a brain - and a penchant toward the bizzare. I do shy away from marrieds and those with a bad tooth-to-tatoo ratio, however.
I am not a musical exclusionist, and there is little viable information about my psyche to be gleaned from my paultry and somewhat archaic CD collection. However, if you must - I listen to a lot of 80's music, especially old Brit-Pop, largely for nostalgic purposes. Pulp, The Charlatans, and Elvis Costello are unconsciously played my mental loop. I love Johnny Cash and Tom Waits, but, hell, who doesn't? I often get in a mood for goofy stuff along the lines of They Might Be Giants, Cake, and The Dead Milkmen. Medeski Martin and Wood, Feist, Bjork, and The Pixies deserve to be mentioned. Oh, and anything touched by the creative genius of Mike Patton - Peeping Tom, Mr. Bungle, Lovage, Tomahawk, his work with Kaada and the X-Ecutioners even good 'ol Faith No More.

Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Amelie, Orphans, Dogma and Clerks, Brazil, the Coen brothers flicks. I love anything with super heroes, a fantasy theme, a good bank robbery, or jewel heist (including he Great Muppet Caper), Boondock Saints, most of the Jim Jarmusch stuff I've seen, Tim Burton's stuff is good when I'm in the mood (- the same could be said of Terry Gilliam), Bill Murray's movies - ALL of them, Four Rooms, Zoolander, The Usual Suspects, Running With Scissors, Hero, The Producers...
You should have your arms ripped out of their sockets for not enjoying Monty Python, The Princess Bride, LOTR Tril, and Willow...
I do have a soft spot for drag flicks and anime, (Yay Hedwig!)which I watch when the mood takes me.
I also LOVE sci-fi. Some Han Solo, Catain Reynolds, and even Picard make me a very happy gal. Cheesy movies like Dark City, Hitchiler's Guide (yes, I took my towel to the premier), Equillibrium, Stargate, Blade Runner, Dune, and, ahh yes, Harry Potter have a special place in my heart. The need to purchase a Gryffindor track suit is overwhelming.

Neil Gaiman , Alan Moore, and Grant Morrison are my fiction literature holy trinity. Now that I don't have to waste away in college textbooks, I find I still read them - along with mythology, religious texts, comics, graphic novels, books on mathematics and nonfiction science, and how-to books on almost anything.
