Big Newton

Lead Guitarist Ronnie Appelman hails from Detroit, Michigan where he attended Michigan State University, majoring in music and playing drums in the marching band. His father is a Jazz Saxophonist that played the Detroit scene and was a strong musical influence for Ronnie. In the 80's Ronnie lived in San Fancisco and was very active in the original club scene and did a lot of recording. Ronnie toured with "The Robin Miller Band" while living in the Sedona area in the 90's. Ronnies diverse guitar skills and strong vocals set him apart and drive the band with an experience level that most bands search for but hardly every find! Drummer Mark Aceves hails from Los Angeles, California. Mark started playing drums early in life and was a founding member of nationally touring act "The Regulators" when only 17 years old. Mark went on to tour with them for more than 10 years. Marks exceptional knowledge of the drums and his impeccable rythem and timing combine to make the rythem section rock while his vocals make a statment as to the experience he's attained through the years as a pro!
